I find it histerical how these people love making a show of their departure from an internet forum, almost as though they were some sort of hero for doing so. Nobody cares, dude. When the fuck did the transgender prostitute character archetype become offensive? Cyberpunk was conceptualized in like the 70s, where you actually would find tranny hookers on the sides of street corners.
I know I'm a little behind on this thread, but the Kotaku "review" of this was done by an seething tranny (MtF, I think) who was miserable that the characters didn't comment on his male V's manvagina constantly, which somehow "invalidated" him and didn't make him feel like a trans man.
It's never enough for these people. Being treated as the gender you've transitioned to without question makes them mad. Being misgendered makes them mad.
The only thing that makes these weirdos happy is the unspoken, unnerving air of knowledge that everyone around you knows you aren't really the gender you identify as, but they have to treat you like you are, at the risk of being written off as a -phobic.
These people's definition of "transphobia" changes more often than they probably change their clothes or shower.

He did, but I'd argue he had a VERY good reason for doing so. He was essentially a volunteer worker - I'd wager his threads brought Isamui Fukui far more money than the forum's entire trans community (in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Kyuuji and friends have actually been responsible for making the forum LOSE money, given how they drive away resonable members).
The guy in your print, though? Just a special little baby who believes he is "taking a stand" by leaving an internet forum. Wouldn't be surprised if he came back in a few months with another name.
