People will absolutely freak out, guaranteed. It's an especially effective "short-circuit" for the NPC crowd and the cognitive dissonance it provokes makes them completely lose their shit. It's a completely innocuous affirmation, but because they know only bad people ever say it, it must be racist. But it obviously isn't. And someone getting upset about it implies they disagree with the statement, as if they're arguing "it's not okay to be white," which is blatant, obvious racism. So simple brains melt trying to cope with that and you get the glorious freak outs we saw when people first started posting these signs.

Yeah, unfortunately the backlash now is that shitty Twitter users claim people are Nazis when they use a fairly common hand symbol. Which is fine when they just scream it at their idiot friends but given they levelled an accusation at at least one police officer last year and the department had to respond takes the humour away from it a bit. When idiots believe it and they are treated as idiots that's amusing. When idiots believe it and are taken seriously it's like people writing in to the police about lizard people running them and the police having to write official public responses.

They didn't, not least because the footage showed that the fellow he was flashing the okay symbol too had been shoved to the floor by someone earlier so checking with him was kind of normal. But it shouldn't even merit a statement the same way they should not have had to make a statement if someone accused one of their officers of being one of the servants of the lizard overlords. Responding to insane conspiracy theories only validates them.

It lost a lot of its power when retards couldn't resist putting them up in protest hotspots, like at BLM rallies or after police-on-black shootings. It works great when the posters seem to go up apropros of nothing in particular, but normal people can read between the lines pretty easily when you start putting them up right over negro corpses.

The milk thing was pure genius though, and it still baffles me that it worked considering antifa and blm should know better than anybody else in the world how vital it is to stock up on milk at a protest where you might get tear gassed or pepper sprayed.
