You really gotta wonder what led to this guy’s avatar. Random Simpsons character + rainbow flag. Somehow that’s what represents you online.

The faggot shit I get, but random Simpsons character... boggles the mind. It’s like an AI bot tried to setup a “hip liberal” social media account.

The word “dude” is the best litmus test any Californian can do to check if someone’s an outsider or not. It’s been a gender neutral term for nearly 40 years, but you’d be surprised how many dumb motherfuckers get offended if you call them dude. They’re always out-of-towners.
Being an outsider to a Californian is the best compliment you can get.

A man shot up a grocery store in Colorado, killing 10 people. They caught the guy alive, too. So why haven't I heard much about this killer's name or identity? Well of course, his name is "Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa". The left can't use this shooting to politicize in their usual ways.

Pay attention to krazen's post up there. YOU BET we're going to see a difference in coverage. In the massage parlor shooting they wasted no time in deciding it was white people at fault, specifically Trump, because he said "China virus". With THIS shooting, it's guns that are the problem, or mental illness. They might even throw in some Toxic Masculinity--whatever distracts you from that name.
The shooter's a muslim, so this will get memory-holed pretty quickly. The "not all muzzies" narrative is still (slightly) higher than the "gunz r bad" narrative on the current progressive agenda, so we won't be hearing much more about it. Can't have the public realizing (again) that muslims are violent.

There are other factors too. A cop got killed, so the "cops are bad" idiots won't get a foothold against public sympathy. This happened in a state with invasive background checks for gun purchases, so the gun grabbers would have to admit strict gun controls didn't help if they try to demand more, and they hate admitting that. And this happened in Boulder, Colorado, renowned for its fart-sniffing pro-weed hipsters and genuine hippies, with a reputation for a mellow "dude weed lol" culture, which they don't want to tarnish by admitting violence can happen there too.

There will be some low-level bellyaching (like we're seeing on Reeeee) but this won't get much traction elsewhere. Yeah, I know some congressional shithead referred to it during a gun grabbing effort yesterday, but I still don't think it's going to be all that useful for the grabbers. This one's just too easy to push back against politically (e.g. if the shooting had happened in a pro-2nd state like Texas or Florida it would have ended very differently) for it to grow legs under it imho.

And the best part of it all is the posters who hate whitey... are whiter than milk. Next step for resetera supremacy is cut your dick off, put a rainbow flag behind your avatar and become a mod.

> "No its just hyperbole, people know which whites we mean when we say that"
> froth at the mouth if anyone mentions Islamic terrorism or 52% at how that generalisation is racist.

It reminds me of the Chris rock niggers vs Black people rant. We all know what everyone means by nigger but it's the end of the fucking world if we dare use that term to describe them.

If one were in a particularly sassy state, one might s/white/Jew (or Muslim, or niggo), and see what happens. I wonder.

If it weren't for double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all.

Interesting historical parallel and a little ass puckering: 1918 Flu epidemic, then 1919 Red Summer of white supremacist terrorism.

Slayven creates an imaginary link between white supremacy and disease in his recent history lesson.

"Damn History be omitting so much shit."

In case you don't want to read that, which I fully understand, Slayven says that in 1918 there was the Spanish Flu epidemic, and in 1919 there was a wave of white supremacist racism. To him, there is a natural connection between the two events. Because if one thing happens, and then another thing happens, the first must have CAUSED the second, right? To the rest of Resetera that seems to be the case too. They're applauding him for teaching them something that school absolutely should have mentioned to them, but didn't.

What Slayven is trying to imply is that following the COVID epidemic (or even during it, according to some posters) there's going to be a huge wave of white supremacy. Of course he's applying at least a few logical fallacies to reach this conclusion. But why not let him hope and dream, right? They're probably giddy with excitement, waiting for that sweeeeet victimization.
