A lot of the more hardcore fans have been banned after more than 3 years. The people left know not to get too uppity or emotional. That's not to say a few posters haven't mastered the art of fanboy posting without it being blatant. But even those few have been getting banned now too. Or maybe the stans are leaving Era for more popular pastures to pursue their console wars. It must be getting boring for them at Era with so many people gone.

I can hand on heart say I have NEVER and will NEVER erase a non-binary person in my life. Entirely because I never fucking consider them non-binary in the first place, thus cannot erase what does not exist.
I think on some level it annoys me. Not the concept itself, but the idea its new, or needs a name. People since the 40s have been fucking with gender stereotypes and since about the 60s they have been done away entirely. This NB shit projects a false reality, like we all currently live in some 40s sitcom about a family values wry take on modernity, and they are some sort of rebel who comes in and takes the ignorant father to task over his outdated views. I find resetera to be a large collection of that problem, the issue of people trying to imitate the lives they see on the television, becoming characters in a play, rather than humans in their own right. Same as those pictures you see of "protesters", they stand up firm, looking away into the distance, not directly into the camera but slightly to the side. Clearly they are seeing a vision of a great future, and they are the heroes of this amazing tale. I wonder if I am giving too much credit, and they are just imitating the picture and my idea of the grand narrative that is in their head is something I have created for them, because I am still trying to give them something human, when all they are is simply pleasure machines that look for the next emotional fix, no matter how empty.

Many of the more outraged and active users on Retardera are communists. They don't believe in private property.
The rest don't think that the damage done in these riots matter. They lean on the "insurance" argument, having no idea how insurance works because they don't own anything worth insuring. They lean on righteous anger, when the reality is the perception that has led to that anger is skewed or outright false, assuming it's genuine. Often times, it isn't really.
We can see that from the multimillionaire ringleaders, but the lemmings get to pretend that they're "fighting" for something. They get an adrenaline rush when they participate in riots, alongside stolen goods if they participate in looting. They get to say they were there, take pictures and videos for Snapchat or TikTok or Tw@tter.
