That's a good point. Going back to WW2 there's the conquering of Berlin but the US can't be accused of trying to take over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. So if Capitol Hill had been burnt to the ground they would not be able to call it an attempted take-over or coup.

Just checked in on gaf for the first time since i last posted. A lot of members have been banned recently for talking politics of being 'anti-vaxxers'. Interestingly, the usual faggots like manabyte, noboty important and funkmiller (all gold subs) talk about politics with no bans.

Why do you think the politics forum was shut? It's because january and february saw the 'good little boys' who sucked tyler's teet, getting their arses handed to them daily. They were caught, time and time again, lying through their teeth and making shit up. Loads of members copped a ban, then politics was shut when it became evident that Joe was a fucking moron.

I have to admit, it's a little mysterious to me. Maybe I'm not giving these brainless garden slugs enough credit because I thought the whole point of signing up for Neofag was to avoid any political dissent at all.

You can discuss politics if you're the 'right' person, discussing the 'correct' politics. The shutting of the politics sub-forum was a decision made by the advertisers of Neogaf, the same people who forced tyler to rename, and eventually remove, the 'Clown World' thread.

Every thread in politics was highlighting how much of a fucking moron Biden is. That was fine when it was Trump, but the lefty faggots who pay Tylers wages were not happy that it was open-season on Biden, and it was pulled.

The users who have been banned since January have engaged in wrong-think and were banned under the guise of politics, white supremacy and anti-vaxxers. Plenty of political topics are raised and discussed without problem.
