I'm gonna power level a bit, I'm one of those people who finished high school and got a job carrying shit inside a van and driving it to places, so I have no idea if this is normal.
Is it regular procedure in britbong unis to make a freshman who has been there for barely 3 months student representative, director of activities, give him extra money for team projects and make him do speeches in front of hundreds of people normal or there's some nepotism going on? (should mention his dad his a professor at another uni)
UPDATE: After some digging I found out the university he's in is known for its lower entry level requirements and easier courses.
