Nerdcore is interesting since there is like two distinct groups of musicians in it where one is from the mid to late 2000s and sing about Gen X media for the most part while the other emerged in the 2010s and sing about popular video games, anime and movies and usually do their best to appeal to a wide audience. Otacore also splintered off of the latter which mainly focuses on anime.
Can be described maybe as one era being before nerd culture became truly mainstream while the other exists in a time after that happened.
There was this female Nerdcore MC that had a really strange career path. She started out as a Nerdcore artist named MC Router (born Kristin Nicole Ritchie) and had a few songs:
She then moved to the Netherlands and became a Dutch musician named Krisje.
After that, she left hip hop entirely and became a Muslim and an Arabic translator. She changed her name to Abedah Ritchie. She appeared on Dr Phil because her family disagreed with her conversion to Islam.
