I think NN is pure sperg stuff. People are having a 'tism fit for something that would potentially hurt their ISP (if it were a small ISP) or raise their Internet bill astronomically because what, Cogent, Level 3, Telia or the myriad of Internet backbones can't charge Comcast or Charter (for example) for a certain amount of bandwidth, but an equal amount? That goes both ways too: let's say that Comcast wants to charge Amazon Video for (x) Gbps of bandwidth at $50/Mbps (I'm not really sure of bandwidth prices, but I know its quite a bit). With NN, they essentially cannot set the price, meaning their pockets would suffer, equaling either limited network upgrades (no more fiber optic installs, everyone!) or your bill shooting up 10 to 20 times more to fund those upgrades and the cost to maintain the lines.
Plus, the organization mainly supporting all this, Free Press, was founded by a Marxist himself who calls for the fall of corporate media and for media to go to government control. Search up "Robert W. McChesney" if you don't believe me.
