Let us be honest. Deadendia is a "kid's" show for socially inept lefty adults made by socially inept lefty adults and blue haired manchildren turning transcripts of their therapy sessions into scripts but is marketed for kids because otherwise they'd never be published, as western cartoons for adults must be lousy shitcoms filled with a truckload of swearing and OUTRAGEOUS CONTENT to be "for adults" and get on the air.

If a show uses "Everyone is ✨KWEER✨" as their main selling point: FUCKING RUN.
Reminds me of how High Guardian Spice tried using how diverse the team as a selling point for the series.

Honselty writing a show just to piss of people who disagree with you becomes shitty writing in my opinion.

Look at The Boys for an example. The show had plenty of ideas they could have done to make their story very interesting. But nope because they need the show to be about how "Homelander is basically Trump" and do stuff like not killing a character off because she's a lesbian ends up ruining good plot details.

Making a show just to piss off Republicans ends up making the show shitty. Honselty it would be the same the other way around too.

I feel most people just want to watch a show and not think about politics for once. But hollywood won't let them.

I agree. Spite is a powerful motivator, but if you're making a piece of media you should think about how it'll reflect on you as a person. I doubt any republican/conservative gives much of a shit about the show, so making it in a spiteful way doesn't really do anything. Be sincere, then everyone wins.

Exactly. I doubt any Republicans are going to be watching this show. So what exactly is the point of it. It pretty much can ruin your story.
