See, if they had started with this trailer, I doubt it would have gotten as much as a backlash originally.

i love how netflix on the preview page of the show says "exciting adult animation like archer." Yeah real smooth compare to a much better show that you don't have the distribution rights too. Anyway i decided to crack open a few beers and check this show out and well sad thing is the opening shows promise,

the action is defiantly something that's been lacking in adult action shows for a long time. i think only tartokofskis work like samurai jack season 5 or primal even come close to how good the action is...too bad it looks like i have the wokness of current year to look forward too in the rest of the show.

Even when the pro-gay shows end up being bland and/or unenthusiastic to the people who pay for streaming services, they’ll always make the media somehow force themselves to write reviews on it, while astroturf more ideas to gay creators to make more things like this.

The rinse, lather and repeat module really does seem to work here

I just watched it and holy shit, I kid you not, it's actual quality.

Whoever made that trailer needs to be fired instantly it was all the worst parts of an actually very solid show.

Like the fact most of the characters are gay is secondary, and usually just used for jokes. There's a straight "macho man" character they use for strawman humor but most of it is actually pretty funny (subjectively of course) and the straight guy is a genuinely good meaning and well-intentioned person.

There's I think... one trans character? I put a question mark up because afaik unless I missed something obvious it's never stated if she's trans or not.

It's obviously not gonna be winning any awards but the animation is VERY solid, especially for a Netflix exclusive and I genuinely enjoyed it.

All the LGBTQ main characters in the show are super capable, talented, professional people who lead productive and meaningful lives for the most part.

Obviously if you're a NEET screeching on Twitter for 12 hours a day you're going to find it really hard to relate to any of them.
