New 3DS XL

Mine is getting delivered today, provided the UPS driver doesn't take one look at my driveway and say "fuck that." and just not deliver it.

I paid $18 for express shipping from Best Buy and they shipped it UPS ground, to be delivered Monday. Wtf man.
 
I got 1 day from Gamestop and Gamestop sent it out yesterday so it'd get delivered today. Good job, Gamestop.
 
I got it two hours ago and I be doing the wireless transfer after work tonight. Only wireless because I don't feel like buying a SD adapter. That said, I wish they have a option to transfer just save data.

I'm lucky enough to have a laptop with an SD Slot and enough free space, and I got a larger Micro SD Card so that one came with an adapter, so my preparedness/lack thereof has paid off. It was funny, I was always planning on getting a larger SD Card and I was lucky not to because they switched up the format, so if I had done it before it would have necessitated me paying twice since you need one at least as big as the old one.

I have my new one now so I'm not in too much of a hurry to fix the old one. If my boyfriend shows interest in a 3DS I may look into getting it fixed up as a cheaper option to buying a separate one, and I'm sure he'd appreciate that too. :P

As far as the new one goes, I've been switching between games all evening and I'm really pleased at how crisp games look even with the larger screen (I haven't owned an XL before). The 3D is way nicer with the face tracking. Also, super small detail, but I like how the 3D slider clicks into place when you turn it off; on my old one it was way too easy to accidentally slide the 3D on.

Thinking about getting one but I just got a Japanese vita and I still have an old 3DS from when it launch back in 2011.
 
Meh. I don't carry mine around, and the new features aren't really enough for me to justify spending money I don't have when my 2DS still works fine and does everything that I need it to.
 
I was interested in one as well as my 3DS could use a better battery and the right shoulder button is unresponsive and I haven't found a tiny screwdriver to open it. However teh $200 price is not worth the replacement for me.
 
Ended up trading in my old 3DSXL for the thing, and got Majora's Mask 3DS along with it. And so far, I'm actually enjoying the thing. The sound is so much better, and the face-tracking 3D actually does make a world of difference in terms of usage. Other than that, I'm wondering if the c-stick works with Ocarina of Time as well.

I ended up biting the bullet and I got a new 3ds xl with some of my tax return bucks. I don't like the 3D as much on the new one as the old one. *sigh*

Really why? If anything I think it's a million times better. I actually leave 3D on as opposed to my old XL where I barely used it.

I don't really like the gloss finish though...

Has anyone here heard about the unlimited coins Club Nintendo glitch? Kinda want to try it out but not if it will get my account banned...
 
Thinking of grabbing one either next week or the week after. I need to save for a 32GB card and MM. I'm going with white then saving some more money for the Pikachu faceplate (I love Pikachu ok :oops:) and the Boo faceplate.
