uhhh, isn't it kind of stupid to be making a historical representation of World War 2 and not portraying it accurately?

This isn't supposed to be a fictional universe, this is supposed to be our real world history.

don't really care what they do with multiplayer though

I was going to say, whatever the new CoD is, it sure as shit won't be as good as World at War anyway so it's really not worth getting bent out of shape over.
 
It's confirmed that Hitler won't be in the new COD game because he's too busy being in his mechanical Fuck You Jews suit in the new Wolfenstein.

lol if youre gonna make a wwii game but remove swastikas and pretend there were women soldiers you might as well add mecha-hitler and demons from hell or whatever and stop acting like you're doing a super grim realdark game and shit tbh

what im saying is id rather be playing the new wolfenstein than this game
 
It's pretty obvious the new CoD disregards historical accuracy for the sake of catering to everybody to reach as many potential customers and markets as possible (this is Activision we're talking about, their only agenda is garnering more cash)

More than likely the removal of swastikas is because of laws regarding the depiction of it in Germany (a lot of WW2 games in the past have had to remove/replace swastikas for German copies, including past CoDs) and rather than spending time and effort replacing every instance of a swastika (and probably toning down the gore) it's easier to just give everybody the same product instead of making different versions of the one product

That and anybody who bought into or genuinely got upset by claims the new CoD is 'the most historically accurate yet!' have fallen for marketing - if you're really passionate about historical accuracy I'd recommend playing Verdun, Foxhole, Commandos or Day of Infamy instead of getting worked up about Call of Duty

I hope they actually make it the most historically accurate yet and that as a result all female soldiers end up with lowered accuracy, health, stamina and can carry only half of the gear their male counterparts do
