Then how did he get the sash/collar thing?

Of course, from the same page on the CWCki, Bob seems to have said Chris did not make honor roll, and I'm FAR more willing to believe Bob (the most sane member of 14BC), so maybe the school just gave Chris the Honor Roll collar thing just so he could feel special (then in typical Chris fashion he believes he deserved so much more) since these papers now suggest he was pushed through classes by sheer leniency simply to get him out ASAP.

You can just buy those at the gown supply shops too

Think of it.

Some average joe would've taken one look at this and thrown it in the trash bin like an ordinary person, and we would've never had all of this juice.
It is hilarous hey. And most people throw this rubbish out after they graduate and just keep certificates for jobs. Chris' hoarding has bit him in the ass, again this year.

Anyone care to explain "Bushwell"? Can we chalk this up to random, ignorant tardation?

Wikipedia tells me the 1992 Clinton-Bush Classic election score was actually 32-18. Virginia did in fact vote for "Bushwell" because he's GOP and it's Virginia.

Oddly enough, there was some minor 12th drama around the 2000 Bush-Gore election over where Cheney was actually from because of whether or not a state could vote for both the pres and veep if they were both from the same state (which iirc isn't allowed under the 12th). This was resolved pretty quickly because Cheney's driver's permit was in Wyoming, his home state, and while he owned a house in Texas it was up for sale.

Wait, wait, wait, wait. Is this an accurate depiction (sans 3 year old artistic prowess) of his bedroom at 16? Was is actually somewhat neat at some stage?!?

His junk was split between two houses at that time. One was an apartment near his high school, the other was 14 Branchland Court. Most of his stuff was at the apartment, but he did spend some time in Ruckersville with Barb so I imagine it wasn't a barren room at that time.

I see, thanks for clearing that up. His arrangement of furniture in the room looks pretty much the same in old 14 BC as it was up until the end, so that's why I' had wondered.

My best guess: Most kids know their state capitals before high school, but Chris, being Chris, had learned them recently enough that he hadn't yet had time to forget them. He also knew the capital of the US is "Washington, D.C.", but he didn't know what D.C. stood for, and might have thought they were just letters and didn't stand for anything at all. So, when he learned about the District of Columbia voting amendment, he automatically thought of Columbia, South Carolina, and it never occurred to him that Columbia might mean anything different.

The other other theory I could think of is that he heard someone call it "The District of Columbia" and thought he could just write "Columbia" because one doesn't label things on a map "The State of Virginia" or "The City of Richmond", they label it "Virginia" and "Richmond".
