We should have a broken record rating for posts that get constantly repeated in threads, sometimes by the same people. Like when Russ Greers thread gets slow, people (many who know better) start repeating the same hot takes that have been posted MULTIPLE times before and add nothing (even for new users). Late doesn't seem to quite fit the bill
Start using "late" like that and it will catch on, or it'll just make you feel better because it removes one fake internet point. Or use "autistic", that one doesn't remove points but it still makes people sad sometimes. "Lunacy" will remove a point too
we really do not need a meme rating for every thing. late is correct here.
I feel like we already have too many. What I'd like to do in the far future of Sneedforo is to make each rating a category with more meme ratings available on hover.
sort of like how you click like or hover like for more precise responses, you can hover 'late' and get 'broken record', or 'winner' for 'semper fidelis'.
this would keep the UI concise, keep managing them easier, and allow variety without really changing anything.
