I think finding that shirt really knocked something loose in his head. Since finding it, he's gone on nostalgic rambles about all of the memories that the shirt was around for, him wishing to redirect his life, not to mention going out to a Wal-Mart wearing it unprovoked...

...and now he's drawing Sonichu again.

I'm wondering if we're in the beginning stages of an autistic mid life crisis.

I hope he comes to the realization that all he can do is Sonichu and cringe. Sadly, I think Sonichu will be crap, and Chris will continue to beg.

I wonder who Chris is trying to reach with these recent updates. He's aware he has a following and even more aware "the trolls" (the farms) are a large segment of that following. If I had to guess I'd think he believes there are true Sonichu fans out there. But still, who is Chris trying to reach with these special updates? Maybe he's not even sure himself and this is just a need for connection with the outside world. Or the need to stay relevant to anyone willing to buy something. Whatever the reason I think it's random and not a conscious decision or plan. Chris has shown no ability for strategy or even conscious decision making.

Sonichu was always crap. But at the same time, it gave us a window into Chris's psyche.

Given the filth of the shirt and its storage, I think radioactive half-life crisis would be a better term.
 
As usual, even when he does what people have been asking for, he disappoints (more exciting would have been if he just dropped a bunch of comic pages at once- but no, he has to sit in front of a camera and make it boring, just like with the sewing). The more interesting point for me is why he suddenly doing this.
 
I can look past the PlayStation music, and the weird mirroring, and the lack of commentary, Chris is finally listening to his """fans""" and is giving us what we want.

How long until Medallions pop back up on his eBay page?
 
The utter silence from Chris, the stock music, and the fucking bizarro pen grip made me feel like I was watching something designed by aliens. Autistic aliens.

Honestly, I don't think he remembers (or cares) that he was given a chunk of money to work on his comic. This is an effort to get more money NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW.

The stock music he uses always had a sort of "Heaven's Gate" cult-esque feel to me. It's kind of surprising that he hasn't tried to substitute something else over it, though, like how he had Christian and the Hedgehog Boys in his Animal Crossing videos 10+ years ago.

I'd like to wish it would have made him realize that the whole tranny phase has not panned out for him the way he had hoped. But, we all know that he's a stubborn idiot and he's going to cling onto this anchor all the way to the bottom.
