Chris's self-insert got increasingly insane in terms of design over the years. I think the best example of how Chris sees his fantasy self is that stupid skylanders figure he keeps throwing around--it's basically a blue haired pony-themed angel. This new Comic Christine is basically that minus the wings.

I think that is the point - fantasy self. I have always had a little more sympathy with the way Chris drew himself in the comics. It is a fictionalized version of himself, so he can draw himself the way he wants.

An actual issue is incredibly unlikely. But if the stars aligned and Chris got off his greasy ass to make an entire new issue I would bet on Slice of Life. Maybe something involving Cole.

For all of Chris's a-logging towards Trump, he only really adds IRL stuff to his comics if it affects him personally. Trump doesn't; Chris just doesn't like him because Trump is a JERK and because the political community he adopted says Trump is Literally Hitler.

Cole might make an appearance because as far as Chris is concerned, Cole is one step above personal enemy. Chris believes he's an ungrateful roustabout who isn't giving his sister and ill mother the support they deserve.

Most likely, it will continue with more saccharine moments of domesticity. It's obvious Chris's favorite thing about Sonichu is giving his little monsters happy family and romantic lives. Expect (if you feel like expecting anything) more heart-sweet garbage and possibly more porn as well.
