Why post just to tell someone you agree with them? I do care about semantics. If you're not an idiot, then you should too. If you think I don't sound clever, that's unfortunate. If you think I sound like a smug dickhead, I apologize.

So you are confirming the criticism I gave. You are a reflexive contrarian with no opinions of your own. I really don't like fighting other users but your Imposter Syndrome reeks so bad I could feel it in the (now) three interactions we've had.

Other users in this thread, myself included, like this guy (neger) and don't want him to go. But it's obvious you didn't know him or are even familiar with what he actually wrote, you're arguing because you've sussed out it's contrary to popular opinion. That doesn't mean you have any point to make or have anything to say.

It's your complete right to do that. But know that doing it for it's own sake makes you look shallow. You're obviously not dumb, but you can do better.

But now what have you got? A smaller and less interesting community. A meaner and more jaded community. A looser and less trusting community. Is that what you wanted? You didn't have to do it. You had a choice.

It says a lot that you and the weirdos at our 'sister' site Onionfarms compare us both favourably and disfavourably to Reddit. All it demonstrates is none of you really know the value of one or the other.

I came from reddit when trump got shot and started a slap fight with troons. Whole Lotta refugees from the moderates and conservatives after reddit sperged out and started banning people with opinions that dont conform with the food stamp mods.

The core issue here is that users who actually post and contribute to the website are being flooded by faggots who don't know anything, don't post anything of value and just sit and complain about it like niggers.

Again, I don't care for their complaining I just don't want to get threadbanned because of faggots who literally do nothing and serve no purpose. For real, there is a faggot who has like 1000 posts about his cat (that's cool and all) sitting giving me shit for actually posting khantent.

The issue isn't bad new users. They exist everywhere and on every site. The issue is bad lazy mods who probably came here from Reddit where the report function is used as a way to abuse users who don't engage in groupthink.

The report function exists for one main reason: its to protect the site from content that can get the site in trouble. When you're a mod and instead treat it as a petition, then you'll end up with a site full of the most abhorrent posters possible just like on Reddit.

To solve this problem this site needs to do 2 things:
1) Punish people who abuse the report function due to disagreement with a poster instead of actual rule/law violations. This would result in the Reddit users finally being banned for abusing the system and would encourage them to go back to the site they're from. It would also de-clutter the report system so that actual reports would be seen. Permanent thread bans for people who abuse the reporting system is the best solution in my mind.

2) Mods need to be audited and offending ones need to be fired. This site has some Reddit-tier moderators who are able to keep under the radar for some reason. If someone offers to fix your car for free but spends the time damaging it, then their contributions aren't some form of charity.
