Well, if you are a liar like barb, your tolerance goes lower and lower. Thats why many liars are get caught even if they have experience lying. The lies get more insane and unbelievebable.
Faking a heart-attack (iirc @Marvin mentioned something like that) is pretty insane.

Of all the whiny e-mails I've read of Chris's, this is the one that rings with true agony.

No one deserves to be treated like that, not even a two-year-old.

That has always been the dynamic, it does not make it right. Chris does not know better anyway, if he got some woman that was slow in the minds to be his lesbian lover for life, he would probably treat her the same way.

"My mom half-treated me to a half payment of a copy of DC Universe Online"

A semi-failed MMO that later went free-to-play.

I'll be honest, as pathetic and sad as these e-mails are, per usual, they actually give a glimmer of a hope for Chris. The fact that he seemed to enjoy helping out the homeless was surprising and almost moving.

You actually believe that Chris did ANY of that?

Most likely scenario: Chris played his vidya and wouldn't let anyone else touch the controllers, then he later half-assed served some slop, and tried to save most of it for himself to eat later.

I really cannot stand the way Chris writes. His sentence structure, his phrasing, the run-on sentences, the punctuation, the bizarre metaphors, and the way he strings words and concepts together that just don't make sense in any rational context, all of it is just so jarring and unpleasant to read. It's like nails on a chalkboard for the eyes and brain. And the melodramatic *sigh*-ing constantly. It's bad enough he does that when he's talking, but pulling that bullshit while writing emails or letters is just irritating and an obvious form of manipulation.

I find the whole concept of a grown-ass adult being told by Memaw and Pop Pop that he can't go to a need convention both hilarious and pathetic. I mean, I know that Chris is mentally eight years old, but the fact that he wants to be taken seriously as an adult and do "grown-up things" like having sex, but then gets shut down by his mommy and daddy when he wants to go have fun in a different state...that's just a trip and I find the whole scenario hilarious. Yeah the way Barb manipulates Chris with suicide threats like a teenage girl when her parents tell her she can't date a guy is a really shitty thing to happen, but the overall context of the situation (a then twenty-nine year old adult being told what to do like a small child) is very humorous.

I also find it irritatingly tedious (or tediously irritaring) how Chris has to quantify unimportant details that have nothing to do with anything. For example, the whole "quilt on head" thing. He couldn't simply said "I was so upset that I curled up and cried", he had to go into detail about this quilt being on his head and even went into the status of the quilt either being on or off his head when he did certain things. It wasn't germaine to the story, was unnecessary in conveying his feelings, and unnecessary in helping the person reading the email understand what had happened. On the contrary, it made the whole thing more confusing. Yet Chris has always been compelled to say or write things like that, as if he's trying to add grandiosity or inflate the story somehow. It's incredibly odd, and it's often rather confusing because of his word choices and hackneyed metaphors.

Personally I believe it's the 'tism speaking. I think Chris has difficulty understanding what's important and what's not so his stories are filled with useless details.

one guy on here said something on the line of "the autism speaks, we must listen to it" and I jokingly said "but I can't understand what the hell it means"

it's hard to say for me, but I am inclined to agree with what you said because he is very selfish, there is recorded proof of his lemonade stand on the cwcki and that is a surprising thing to see, but without any proof of the contrary, he is undoubtedly an asshole

Its times like this that reminds me that Chris's only true friends are his own electric hedgehog Pokémon. Not even his own mum cares enough to be his friend.

They needed his tug boat. If they gave him too much freedom, he might leave tug boat and all. This is not conducive to the hoard.

This is certainly what I see in these emails. Most of the time, Chris wants to leave to meet people and they're afraid he might just up and leave them, which means a significant amount of money would be gone that they couldn't use for their own purposes.

I knew they were shitty parents, but keeping a young man that fucked in the head in order to take advantage of his money is really, really shitty.

Ah yes, odds are that was it. I still don't understand why Bob would say Chris is 'psychologically matched' to a psychotic killer. Unless Chris misunderstood, which is also likely.

Probably scaring him into thinking he could be a monster, or them just being a dick. They get into a big argument, and say "well Chris, you're just like that nut, without us, you'll go out and murder people!"

That is some straight up mind fucking going on.

I think Bob meant that if Chris got into it with the police they might shoot and kill him for acting strange because they don't realize he's autistic. Who knows though its impossible to decipher his retard speak.

That's pretty much why I felt no real sympathy for the Chandlers when Bob died, cold as that may sound. Bob might've done a slightly better job -and I mean slightly- of trying to be a parent to Chris, but e-mails like this prove he was just as complicit in mollycoddling and outright manipulating Chris like that decrepit monster that wears a human skin suit and calls itself "Barb".

And Barb can't croak soon enough, IMHO.

This is the same mistake Bob made and everyone else makes about Chris in general. People look at Chris and just because he drives and pays bills, they try to use normal neurotypical logic to contextualize him, which is a mistake. It's been said time and time again, Chris is a tard and the way he writes, it appears as though he might also have some severe thought disorganization disorder in additon to whatever autism has done to his brain.

I think Bob meant that if Chris got into it with the police they might shoot and kill him for acting strange because they don't realize he's autistic. Who knows though its impossible to decipher his exceptional individual speak.
Police have shot and killed people with more obvious and severe mental disorders.

Oh, I understand that he's a tard and that his cognition is distorted. It's practically scrambled. If he wasn't clearly exceptional most people would think he had suffered a severe brain injury. I was merely commenting on the fact that he tries to over-compensate by using grandiose words that he has a tentative grasp on at best, and completely fails to utilize properly at worst, and that the way he communicates both in written and spoken word is frustrating and unpleasant for normal neurotypical people to try to understand. Someone should have told him years ago that he should stick to simple words and concepts to make it easier for those around him to understand what he is trying to convey when he communicates with others.

About this whole MAGFest thing, remember that Chris's plan was literally to sleep in the hotel lobby until he was able to worm his way into one of Jackie's friends' beds and bang them. (that's what Barb's "blankets" remark was about) Bob and Barb weren't wrong to tell him to stay home. It's just that since they were horrible people, they did it in a horrible way.

Most surprising to me was hearing about Bob encouraging the toxic dependency.

Really? I'm just the opposite. The emails were difficult for me to follow because he neglected to mention which Pokemon episode he'd just watched.

Is there any unreleased stuff from the Tomgirls and Tomboys of Virginia saga? For some reason that was one of the funniest modern arcs. Maybe because it involved Chris insisting he was a heterosexual male despite painting his nails and using the women's bathroom.

My eyes just kept glazing over while trying to escape to the next line to finds something coherent.
I hope that Chris' silence is foreshadowing to the knowledge that we may get some new word salads sometime soon.
