As predicted in the famous novel 1984 by George Orwell, the fictional socialist party, which later inspired the modern-day Democrats, would come up with new words to replace the old "mean" words, and that prediction has come to fruition. Terms like birthing person and cisgender women have been used to replace woman as a term. Another example of a newspeak term I can't stand is replacing boyfriend/girlfriend with "partner" to destigmatize abnormal sexual relations.

Degrowth. It's not just Newspeak in terms of being a stupid modern colloquialism, it's a word that actually fits the pattern of Newspeak, like "ungood". Houseless doesn't track quite as strongly, but it's somehow even gayer.

Also "died by suicide". As though there are wild suicides roaming the streets going around mauling people to death. They COMMITTED suicide, you absolute pussies.
 
OPTICS. I HATE the word OPTICS meaning "appearance", "image" or "façade". Positively Orwellian.

NEURODIVERSE or NEURODIVERGENT meaning "retard".
 
blocklist/allowlist. It was pushed hard during BLM riots and is fucking retarded. Same for primary/secondary instead of master/slave or even just master, as in master bedroom.

Does anyone remember when woke used to be a good term? Before woke became the new term for liberal, it used to mean someone was "in the know." For example, Alex Jones was "woke" about 9/11. I don't know who changed the meaning of woke to its current meaning, but I prefer how it's used now.

I think news should be turned into a WWE spectacle, like Anchorman. Imagine a riot or protest being covered the same way as Wrestlemania; that would be extremely funny and entertaining.

I'm autistic and I get pretty annoyed at "neurodiverse" and similar "nicer" replacements for "mentally disabled".
I honestly prefer words like "aut", "aspie", and of course "retard".
