From what I've seen of these guys, they seem to convince themselves of this fact absolutely. Everyone is always looking for sex, non stop, and there's no way you can possibly have a different relationship outside of sex. I'd say it's very painful. That sort of thinking never leads to a good mental space.

The worst thing about "nice guys" and "weird girls" is their ideology on the "friend zone".
I physically cringe whenever I see the term "friend zone" thrown around unironically, and for good reason.

If these sort of people were the least bit attractive to anyone, they'd probably know what it's like to be on the other side - to have someone like you when you don't return the interest. At best is flattering, but often it's awkward because you don't want to hurt that person's feelings, you just can't return them and make them happy.
What am I saying? We know for a fact that some of these guys have had girls interested in them, but they claim it "doesn't count" because said girls weren't 12/10 supermodels who would do anal on the first date like in their favorite porn.
