Plagued Nice Guys

I'm at work, so I can't watch videos, can someone summarize it for me?

Basically, the dude went down to Tokyo because his best friend is getting married to a man she "doesn't love". He planned to stop her and take her back to America. At the time of that interview, the wedding was going to start in four hours.

I think I can fill in the rest. She really loves him, but doesn't realize it. He's going to storm into her hotel, and declare his true love for her, and tell her she's making a huge mistake. Because he flew all the way to Tokyo to do this, she's going to realize the truth in his words, call off the wedding, leap into his arms, and they'll go back to America, get married and live happily ever after. That about right? Was there any follow up? Do we know how it turned out? It's very telling that he wasn't invited to the wedding it seems.

Your professed political beliefs are basically a fashion statement now, and while the world is full of enough different folks with different strokes that no political leanings are outright 100% pussy repellent, the rest of your image has to match up. Nobody is going to be interested in a libertarian that lives in his mother's basement. Nobody is going to be interested in a neo-fascist who's visibly unfit for military service. Nobody is going to be interested in a racialist without the defined quads and pectorals to curbstomp muds. And nobody is gonna go for an anti-feminist without the chiseled jawline of a 1950's heart throb and an effortless air of chauvinistic superiority to the women he hits on.
This seems... really goddamn on-point. And wise and perspicacious and just plain practical.

I've seen many pictures like this one. I still can't shake off the feeling that those quotes were made up by the author of the shoop; it's almost physically impossible to lack self-awareness to such a degree.

Even if the quotes are misattributed, their attire is still something they chose to wear. Not our fault if we can't figure out if those are actual quotes or not when they look the part to the T. How do the kids say that today? "He got it on fleek"?

He got it on fleek.

That's like saying at least conspiracy theorists tell each other they're all smarter than everyone else.

At least conspiracy theorists like each other. Politicians would kick each other off a roof for a ham sandwich, I'm quite convinced by this point.

Then again, most "Nice guys" would probably push each other into a wood chipper for the chance to look up a skirt...

Nice guys think being nice is a huge accomplish in the same way SJWs think that not being racist is a huge accomplishment.

It never occurs to either group that expecting to be treated like a king because you're a little bit less of an asshole than someone else is laughable to the highest degree. They act like behaving like a decent human being is not only hard but is something that must be learned and perfected. It's like saying to someone "Hey, I didn't punch you in the face even though I really wanted to!" and then putting their hand up expecting a high five.
