Trying to pick up someone who's told you they're in a relationship multiple times shows that you're a disrespectful asshole who doesn't care about other's boundaries. Her response is spot on.

These posts illustrate the catch-22 of women dealing with Nice Guys. If you try to spare their feelings, and don't flat out reject them, you're "leading them on" or "using them". If you offer an explicit rejection, you're a heartless bitch. Personally, I appreciate people who are straightforward about what they're feeling. It makes things much easier. Also, getting turned down for a date is not the end of the world. Odds are there's someone out there who will click with you. They might not be a supermodel, but for a relationship, that's not important. If you just want to bang a pretty girl, hire an escort.
