This shit is horrifying. There's something I learned from a very famous book that deals in part with stalkers called The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker. He wrote that any type of contact, even where you tell someone to leave you alone or to fuck off will be construed as encouragement. The correct thing to do is to give no response. If you pick it up even if they text you again after several months they'll know they still have an impact on you and they'll get right back at it.

That's as far as I recall anyway. Seriously great fucking book though, everyone should read it, not least women.

The adage i remember is "if a stalker texts you 80 times and gets a single response even if its fuck you, they now know they have to text you 80 times again"

Douglas Murray has a term--"cuttlefishing"--to describe guys like this.

In nature, smaller, weaker male cuttlefish present themselves as female in order to avoid territorial battles with superior males; this allows them easy proximity to females and the opportunity to mate.

And human males (especially in very left-leaning social circles) perform a variation on this. Yes, some straight men are legitimately more mild-mannered, and have more feminine-leaning interests--just as there are straight women who remain tomboys all their lives. But the soyboy, the avowed male feminist, and what used to be called the Sensitive New Age Guy (or SNAG) are all cuttlefish. The dude in this story took it way too far, though.

Since people can't read minds, if someone tells me something I tend to believe them unless I have evidence they're not trustworthy. If a guy tells a girl he's not interested, unless she herself is of a stalker mindset, most likely she'll believe him and move onto someone else. I hate people who think you have to play mind games to get laid.

I had a friend in college who I got very close to. I had been single for a while at that point. We hung out a lot out of class, and she even tried setting me up with one of her friends. We went on one date and she was a fucking psychopath. Well around the time of the end of our program I got back with my ex and when I went to go tell her because I was excited and happy, she text me back "Great, so now the guy I want is FUCKING TAKEN!" I haven't talked to her since.

I had no idea she was interested, and even when I had tried to make a move on her in the past she rejected me, so I took the hint. Also, SHE SET ME UP ON A DATE WITH HER CRAZY FRIEND.

Don't be fooled, there are plenty of "nice girls" out there too.

I don’t get what this girl found so hard. All she had to say was I wanna suck your dick. If her friend was a psycho she must be bat shit insane.
