I found this post in a Facebook group for singles.

"Being too nice" is usually what a woman will say to a man they don't find sexually attractive, but the women being supportive in the comments don't admit that.

Is anyone here familiar with the nonprofit world? I'm wondering, because I believe we could get a fuller picture of the undisputed 5-year Nice Guy world champion, menumessages.

What we know:
  • A supervisor, he (32M) attended a black-tie fundraising gala with his employee "Jennifer" (24M) nearly 5 years ago, on June 30, 2017, as it took place on a Friday and he said it was about 2 weeks before his post on July 12, 2017.
  • It was in a city.
  • It was geared toward immigrants and refugees.
  • He is an amateur boxer - he had a boxing match in either late July or early August 2017 that he was angry Jennifer did not attend.
  • He does a lot of legal work at his NGO.
  • His boss' name is Roger.
Fun fact: June 30 is the end of the fiscal year, which is likely why this gala was scheduled for that day.

I've worked in nonprofits, but it's a pretty wide realm, so I could be off, but much of his post struck me as perhaps inflating the organization he worked for and/or his role there, so that might make it harder to track down. It's been a while since I read the OP, but I think he referred to "doing a lot of legal work" or something like that. A lawyer would say he was a lawyer, and would also know you can't get a restraining order on behalf of someone else. His follow-up letters about how the nonprofit world was so small and he was going to ruin her blah blah just sounded very delusional as well.

Someone commented, claiming to be the boyfriend - they said it was full of fallacies and exaggerations, such as that it wasn't black-tie. I'm confident the commenter themselves was full of shit, as they had a previous long history of giving input concerning Nice Guys for several years prior, but it does beg the question as to how much actually was how it was presented...
