Notably one where he holds Mio and took the time to mask in his hand around her. The thing about creepy obsessives and their fantasies is once they have power to live their dreams they are not willing to simply release it.

This guy reminds me of this article. To be fair, Windows ME is actually a decent operating system. They did remove some critical features from 98, but it's still essentially an improved 98 and if you just replace some of the files with 98's, you've got a really good 9x OS. 9x in general is still really shit though and I don't know why you'd ever want to use any 9x OS, even when 9x was new nobody wanted to use it.

As for this guy, I really can't tell if he's ironic or not, but he reminds me of my friend Alex who acts just like this guy and everything he does is 100% ironic, so he really might just be going for the long con.

I'd wager that's the computer he actually uses to post things online, upload videos, run browsers, etc. It's the oldest OS I can think of that can still be used today without losing a lot, and even that's lost it's support, so.

I like old electronics, including computers, but I still like to have a recent machine that can do things, like boot in under 5 minutes.

I really do think this guy is a ruse.

He is somewhat similar to another ruse of a sort known as Nasa Jim 108 (ZZalgernOn and comedian Duncan Trussell).
Funny enough, people thought these videos were legit - spoiler they aren't, but they are entertaining. Some "real" youtuber conspiracy theorists were real butt-hurt by Nasa Jim. Some people outright thought that they were possessed by real demonic aliens by watching his videos.

Also noted is the use of Windows XP on these clunkers and not millennium. He also uses the logo of Windows ME as the sky box in his animations in such an aggressive way that it beggars belief.

My guess is this guy works at a thrift store near a retirement community. So he has access to all these clunkers, dated clothes, and more to do whatever he thinks he's doing. Probably just doing it for kicks. :story:

More people need to know about Ratboy Genius. I love it. It's so strange and inexplicable, but charming. The animations have a bit of a cult following.
