Nick Rekieta goes live with Null to discuss Yaniv

Unfortunately there's no where to stamp. They seriously talked about him briefly, moved on for a half hour, mentioned him again, rinse and repeat. It would be a nightmare to find it and stamp it all.

Jesus Christ. Well, thank you kindly for letting me know and sparing me any effort of trying to find the "relevant" part.

Y'all are insane for watching (and in some cases even enjoying) that, though.

I agree that Nick Rekieta is in no way an expert on Canadian law, and especially not with respect to a BC Human Rights Tribunal case, which doesn't align with US law at all. So people should at most look at this as entertainment, not education.

There is really no direct analog to these kangaroo courts in the United States, other than perhaps the Title IX tribunals universities used for a brief period of time. The closest similar thing would be administrative courts or other quasi-judicial bodies in general, but those are susceptible to robust judicial review when they adjudicate rights.

There's nothing similar where a mere complaint automatically triggers an onerous prosecution of some possibly completely innocent person with no probable cause or reason or even a trace of evidence to believe the often vexatious litigant is even telling the truth.

Again, though, the Title IX processes at universities are what you get when you do that shit. A functioning Constitution eventually shuts it down, though, while the HRT mockery has continued since the '70s.

But as for getting the channel deleted, we're fortunately well past Yaniv being able to do that.

Anyways, can someone provide a timestamp of the actual Yaniv content, please? Or am I the only one vaguely interested, but not enough to watch four and a half hours of this shit?
Yaniv - approx 1.25.00 there's a bit, I didn't listen to the whole vid as it was too long to sit through.

It was perfect for lawn mowing. I enjoyed most of the stream, it was very pleasant to listen to two adults listening, processing and talking in turns after watching too many videos about/starring Yaniv this week.

I learned about Maddox, a name I hadn't heard in eons as well as a very good description of internet stuff. Null does a very good "internet for idiots" presentation without being rude.

I took most of the legal talk around Canada as a sort of differential. Neither pretended to knew about Canadian law, it's interesting to hear how someone sees your system through their lens. They talked a lot about American cases too, including how case law is constructed in the US. Not meant to be educational or exhaustive, but interesting tidbits especially on how British Common law ends up in American law despite the feelings of Americans toward "the British."
