There is a lot of pre-packaged or processed foods that are very light on salt and don't get me started on "healthy" or "Organic" foods that barely include any. I get everyone is terrified of too much sodium, but there's healthy levels, if you don't want food that tastes like cardboard.The seasoning has a very simple explanation. Have you had "institutional" food before? Bonus points if it is low-sodium/diet-centered. That's what blacks think white people food is like.
