Great suggestion, this idea is actually worthy of its own thread.

Im going to give an unpopular opinion, but the only users who deserved a ban were the ones who posted real CP. Everyone else is banned for basically nothing other than they offended me, derailed a thread, or had a Sock account. Why do we even ban people for that?

CP, animal cruelty and dual handles should be the only reasons for a ban IMO.

Spamming, repeated thread derailment etc should just result in a timeout.

What I find interesting is that the third quote you've posted doesn't even have too many negrates, and it's as recent as 2021. When I joined in 2018 (and lurked a bit before that) trannies were definitely laughed at, but it's was still more of a funny Tumblr thing and they weren't considered mortal enemies of the site.

Im actually still here, the meltdown was cause of mental issues which Im getting help for not because of the forum. I just lurk now, I dont post anymore cause the community has turned on me due to some regrettable actions from my newfag days. I dont think any amount of proselytism or struggle sessions and mockery will make it go away so I just plan to remain persona non grata. Maybe one day I can create a sock account and fashion myself a new reputation like many in the beloved user camp with the wholesome profile posts and community appreciations. The jeet comments never bothered me to be honest, its just one or two users I had issues with. But the fact Ive been featured on "Users who deserved to get BTFOed" thread means I should probably just stay away, thanks Macho Mans Rabbi.
