no I think he had a restrictive ortho eating disorder (raw vegan) that he morphed into binge eating for cash. As much as people like to think nick is some kind of mastermind because he’s a lot more coherent in his words and actions as compared to the other Deathfat. Meaning he doesn’t have an IQ of 3 like Jen, Amber, or Chantal - doesn’t mean his disorder doesn’t have him by the balls. He might even be more foolish than them. He has likely dived head first into this cash cow of a freak show with the idea of “getting while the getting is good” and have the assumption he can quit whenever he wants. But just like an alcoholic who swears he can stop drinking anytime. I highly doubt that’s possible. Nick is more cunning and well spoken and has no shame in his admitted and self aware game. But he’s not any less addicted. He just likes to use the self awareness as a cope for his addiction.

Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense. I couldn't really figure out why he just started putting the weight on after all this time on the tube. I guess he just let his addiction really consume him. You can't maintain a facade of your addiction forever and it will catch you. I know this all too well personally. I really do like Nick and I think he's charismatic so I wanted it to be anything other than that.
