Nintendo Source code leak - source for games, DS emulator, prototypes and more

That's the DS Lite, basically came immediately after the initial DS release. Brighter screen and slightly smaller form factor. The GBA cartridge looks like some debugging tool? Not sure but it's interesting as it has a 2 or 3 pin socket.
There's some images that show some cables solder to a few joints.

Its fucking real and not Pizza. https://anonfiles.com/T3GdlfI9ob/other.zip

Seems like it might be a lot of dev stuff for GBA, 3DS, and DS. Maybe Wii.

The files are using LHA compression. I thought that shit was only used back in the 90s before Zip and RAR were a thing.

Edit: some photos of some DS thing.

There's a lot more in the archive.
That prototype cart at the bottom was intended to detect sunlight and other shit like Solar Robo as well as movement and different internet connections.

They just want their loyal consoomers to rebuy the old games everytime they shit out a new console.
And they do, they always do(sometimes me included).

Nintendo's in a place almost as good as Gaben & Valve; they know that if you have a product good enough, people will buy it. In some cases, over and over and over. Nintendo facilitates this and makes sure you have many avenues to purchase and re-purchase their products. They have to protect their intellectual properties for legal reasons, but they honestly don't care about emulators and code leaks because it stirs interest and people continue to buy, even when it's otherwise available for free. There's room for improvement but Nintendo's in a great place right now overall.

The reasons companies like Soyny completely lose their shit about pre-release leaks is they're releasing garbage, they know they're releasing garbage, and the leaks will completely fuck their shit up because people won't want to buy their garbage if they know what it is in advance.

Beta Iron Knuckle

@tehpope Thanks for posting these. I don't know where these are being discussed outside here that isn't polluted with spergs trying to make drama. I hope that, once the dust settles, the source code and assets are easily available.

The only way these leaks could be better is if it had the source code for Goldeneye.

Edit: Archive.
95% of my post come from the threads on /v/.

Holy fuck, is that the Iron Knuckle from the INCREDIBLY early footage where Link still looked like "Classic" Link?
EDIT: Jumped the gun, on watching the footage a few times it definitely isn't the same model, but it's definitely a very, very early one.

the one thing I would love to get my hands on are their Promotional models Nintendo uses for marketing, I wonder if any of those are lurking on their servers somewhere
A bunch of those renders are in the leaks. Most of the OOT items have HQ renders from the manual. Someone posted HQ renders of the Wave Race 64 drivers. Mario 64 probably in there too.

Still trying to figure out how to get the raw data out of these games lol, looks like a lot of it was in house programs and tools,

Maybe. idk. People are just starting to dig into these files. We found Luigi in SM64.

Edit: People on /vp/ are looking into the Gen 4 beta. I'm not interested so I haven't been posting shit. Here's the beta pokedex for D&P

Also, that new download seems to be mostly padded out by random photos and a few modern japanese Nintendo cms (Switch, NES Mini, SNES Mini). Some said there was an archive of vp6 encoded commercials, but I haven't downloaded that yet.

Edit 2: I got to the part of the download with the vp6 files. No idea how to open them. FFMPEG gives me shit. Mediainfo the same. MPV and VLC can't play them.

That file I talked about hours ago, its BS. Like it seems legit, but there's corrupted stuff in there and it might just be nonsense. Most of it is photos and videos.

Man, I can't believe L was real after all.

Has there been anything about Ura Zelda?
Maybe? People have been finding Majora's Mask stuff inside the OOT stuff. So its possible some of the Ura Zelda stuff moved to MM.

So since there is such a good Luigi model, the stories of Miyamoto scrapping 2 player co op in SM64 really close to release are probably true? Dang.
