Welp it's the switch, but 2. Nintendo still has the creativity of a toddler when naming consoles
Yeah I can't believe they would do that, like they didn't look over at the Playstation 2, look how hard that failed because people didn't know if it was a new system or just an upgraded PS1, I mean they even did the same controllers as before thing too how could they not learn from history

I'd agree if it was actually there second console and not the 8th.

I think something that people overlook will be the size of the console, something too big wont be comfortable to carry around.
That boat has sailed, it's obviously even bigger than the regular Switch, which was already too big. At this point I just hope it's more ergonomic and light to to compensate for the increased size a bit, but it doesn't look any more comfortable and will almost certainly be heavier (best case the same weight).

I'll get one regardless, either to hack or resell depending on circumstances, but may not keep one until Switch Lite if the launch games suck. I'm alone in this but even Lite was too big and heavy, Vita is the upper limit of what's comfortably pocketable and to hold, and even then that only really applies to the 2000.

Why does donkey kong look like this now it's weird

"It's not revolutionary" has been his take for everything for the past ten years.
I mean, he's right. Not really relevant but he's right. How many genuinely new experiences have we had in the last decade compared to the decade before? And how many compared to the decade before that (which, bear in mind, starts slingly before Mario 64.) And then the decade before that only slightly post-dates the original SMB- how much were games changing then?

I swear to God if I don't Tomodachi life 2 on this I'm gonna riot.
Nigger, don't tempt that monkey's paw.

“We apologize for disappointing many people by failing to include same-sex relationships in Tomodachi Life," Nintendo said following controversy regarding homosexuality in its life sim. "Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to change this game’s design, and such a significant development change can’t be accomplished with a post-ship patch. At Nintendo, dedication has always meant going beyond the games to promote a sense of community, and to share a spirit of fun and joy. We are committed to advancing our longtime company values of fun and entertainment for everyone. We pledge that if we create a next installment in the Tomodachi series, we will strive to design a game-play experience from the ground up that is more inclusive, and better represents all players.”
