"Oh, you want to keep Bloodborne as a console-exclusive for ten years? Okay. We'll make a Nintendo-exclusive called Borneblood The Duskbloods."

This is the same company that made the Wii av only because they believed hdtv wouldn't take off.

Theyre not stuck in the past. They just refuse to acknowledge the future till they can't ignore it anymore
This mindset is also present in its game developers. Take Vanillaware for example, one of their recent interviews mentioned how they are hesitant to port their games on PC mainly because they are still afraid of modding in their games.

Cue them getting nearly bankrupt every time they develop a game because of their retarded behaviour then going "please uwu fund us for our next game" on repeat for 5 years.

Oh wait, has anyone remembered Unicorn Overlord? Uni-what now?

Cyberpunk, Madden, Borderland4 and all other third part developer games where they dont want to pay the nintendo tax for bigger memory cards. Also expect 70 and up for games on switch2, but now with nothing on the card. the shit got insane expensive fast, thank god i dropped nintendo a long time ago. The digital future have come to the nintendo. Pay through the nose and own nothing.

I think 80-90 dollars for a game is going to kill any chance for this to sell well. Video games are already selling badly these days raising the price is just going to push even more people away. Plus you can buy old games for like 5-10 on steam or used original switch games for like 40 which is way more reasonable. Outside of the most hardcore Nintendo fans no one is going to buy this. Give me all the rainbows you want but you know I'm right.

Yep, the PS4 is the last console worth ever giving a shit now. At least it has a CD reader for physical ownership.

The fact that we're getting Wind Waker in the gamecube games probably isn't a good sign for Wind Waker HD: Switch 2 Edition. On the bright side, Twilight Princess wasn't shown as one of the gamecube games, so there's still hope for that one.

Why does the dk game have asset flippy graphics? Some of the dirt models and textures look like they belong in an asset flip. I thought nintendo puts effort, they should stop this lighting and raytracing shit the industry is chasing. Duskbloods also looks very very mid. Definitely indicative of soulslike fatigue, it looks like a 3d castlevania ripoff. Mario kart world looks good though, shame I'll never purchase a switch 2.

It’s not often that I buy new toys for myself and this is something I’ve been looking forward to since they first came out with the OLED switch. Decided to hold off on upgrading my lite until the S2 came out. Game price points aren’t really a problem because I rarely buy new ones anyways lol

I just hope that a new animal crossing is in the works and that the graphics will be all nice and shiny with new mechanics

yeah the pricing for games is going to be a PR disaster, especially in a market where like 80% of all people play on PC and have little reason to buy a console, if Nintendo doubles down they are mega-fucked

The cartridge situation isn't good because Nintendo has a proven track record of not supporting old online platforms. At least on Xbox I can STILL download copies of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory from the original Xbox I bought 20 years ago.

Even pReddit is revolting:

Here are some of the 90 dollar keycards games coming, what a great way to start off a new console. Its the start of the end for physical games on nintendo consoles. What a sad sight.
