He basically made fromsoftware at this point. If he's taking a backseat like Miyamoto did, I definitely see from crashing into mediocrity/irrelevancy within a 6 game span. Nintendo basically lost the legendary game status after Miyamoto and aonouma took a back seat. Since 2014 to now there's been two games nintendo released worthy of being considered 10/10s and on the level of their earlier output, botw and odyssey. Everything else from splatoon to totk have fallen short or just been straight up mid. Same will happen to from, elden ring is their twilight princess and after that it's going downhill.
Now watch the game become delisted or the servers have a fit. Now you cannot access your $80-90 title since it's not even on the cartridge itself. What is even the point of the cartridge?

I think the graphical upgrade will actually be quite big. Loads of games on the switch look horrifically blurry and low res, with poor framerates too. It's a complete scam having to pay for an "upgrade", but I think playing BOTW on the switch 2 will be a massive upgrade on the original switch version.
