I’m calling bullshit on that simply because Brawl had a section in the Chronicle menu dedicated to Virtual Boy.
It’s like they remembered the “$70 for cardboard” Labo memes and chose to double down. The difference (and what the people spouting those memes conveniently ignored) is that Labo came with an actual game. Bundle this thing with a cartridge containing every first-party VB game, and make those games playable on a normal TV, and then we’ll talk.

That direct was amazing. I'm really excited for almost everything coming up. Hyrule Warriors looks like trash and Metroid Prime 4 is a disaster in the making, but everything else looks great.

I was marking out and soy facing the entire part of the Virtual Boy segment. Only those who had parents buy the closeout models and can remember having to wait until the weekend to set it up on the kitchen table with an AC adapter can understand how cool it is.

Five years ago, you paid $60 for a pack of three 3D Mario titles (one becoming obsolete once they ported the N64 catalogue to Switch).
Today, you pay $80 for two 3D Mario titles (one being redundant if you bought the last pack).
I wonder what we'll have to look forward to five years from now? Maybe you'll get to pay $100 for Mario is Missing Deluxe Edition. I would also like to point out that, unlike the last 3D collection, Nintendo didn't plan on making this a limited edition thing that disappears from store shelves after an arbitrary amount of time. Did they do that because they saw the backlash from the last collection, or did they realize the timed exclusive thing didn't make them that much extra money?

fucking lol ... back when this thing flopped the first time you could buy the actual console on clearance for $30 a pop and the games for $5-$10 each (all ten of them for the US market).
I want whatever drugs they're smoking. It sounds fun.

I just wanted to sperg for a second about Zelda.
I am so tired of the Breath of the Wild universe. I'm ready for a new Zelda world to explore. That's what I like about the series--the floaty timeline means you can do a different Hyrule whenever you want.
I'm biased as seen by the Zelda I prefer in my avatar but I never want to hear Zelda talking in a British accent and watching her cry ever again I'm so over it.

Can we go back to the OoT, MM and TP era games where they weren't actually voiced at all besides little gasps, grunts and attack sounds? Those were nice games. Those were fun. No faggotry either (except for those contractor dudes who got locked up by the Gerudo chicks and flailed like homos when they were freed ... but you gotta figure they didn't last long after letting them out what with all the man-hungry ladies running that prison camp

Genuinely would prefer that. Wind Waker told an amazing story without anyone speaking full on sentences in English. I feel hopeless. Soysumers are going to pay $70 for old Wii games and $100 for Pokemon and we will never have sanely priced video games again. Nintendo cannot fail because they have an unlimited number of retards to buy everything they make.

I think we’ll have reasonable game prices. But not from Nintendo and AAA titles. Which sucks because the Nintendo games I do love, I’ll buy.
AAA is a lost cause and the AAA industry can’t crash soon enough.
