The irony of this statement is that feminists and sjws are the most girl hating people I've ever had the displeasure to observe. -___-; Instead of embracing feminine traits as they are, they always adamantly shun them in favor of being "strong" women. Same with the "transphobic" thing involving men in drag. Is it just me, or does the sjw crowd have some sort of problem with femininity? I'd call it hateful towards anyone who isn't themselves. When you hold a core belief of, "I am the center of the universe", the existence of others who don't agree with you is a personal affront.

I don't think so, because if you look at a majority of these demibois or autigender girls, they just use it to ADD to the vulnerability. They're "less safe," because now they're "perceived as a girl" and will only be more persecuted because of their "queer" identity. Add into that their 18 disabilities/mental illnesses, and these straight, cis girls beautiful queer princexes are THE MOST vulnerable in our society.

It's almost as if these mostly middle-upper class, straight, white cis girls understand that middle-upper class, straight, white cis women are the most "privileged" group in the United States. They have to, for lack of a better word, appropriate the struggles of actual minority groups because their lives are just that boring.

These “Special Unique Snowflake People” don’t upset me, it’s more about disappointing me. It doesn’t feel genuine, and the majority of this feeling comes from the fact that they have to invent new gender identities and new sexual/romantic orientations, on top of self-diagnosing as mentally ill but that bit is off topic. Being LGBT+ does look like the golden ticket to escape the vultures. And neither of both groups are actually doing anything about equality, one harasses people and the other is a group because it’s made of people who are afraid of the first one. Me, I know I can’t do much, so I’m trying to slap on the wrist anyone I catch steering the wheel away from equal treatment for literally everybody. And you’ll notice that I haven’t imagined any harmful intent coming from the snowflakes, because I’m aware of what’s going on: if you’re white and straight, you’re the epitome of oppression. However if you add being non-binary to that, you become very oppressed and nobody’s going to swoop anywhere near you. Truth is a very high percentage of these “transtrenders” are white. These super long descriptions with new gender identities, new orientations, self-diagnosed mental illnesses… It’s a shield they’re raising in the descriptions of their blogs. And with the term “transracial” coming in these days, I could be onto something that’s parallel to when the world grew more acceptant towards transgender people.

So-called "singular they" has even crept into some of the more politically correct style manuals here and there. I view it as acceptable when less awkward means of avoiding an unnecessary gender pronoun aren't available. My other rule is if anyone is paying me to write, their style manual is the law.

I can deal with singular "they" as it's used sometimes when you don't know the gender of who you're talking about (and is less effort to say than "he or she").
But when you move on from "Looks like someone forgot their wallet" and start using it constantly in sentences, it can be pretty confusing. Particularly if the person you're talking to isn't aware of the whole "non-binary" thing, and it just sounds like you're talking about more than one person.

But yeah, I'll definitely take it over the xie/hir/ae/whatever the hell attempts at gender-neutral pronouns.
What gets me is when people get pissy over being referred to as "they" rather than as "xie" or whatever, claiming that is misgendering. Just be grateful I'm willing to put up with your whims enough not to just outright refer to you as "she", seeing as you're making zero effort to look androgynous anyway.

...One thing I never understood was when people claimed to be "non binary lesbians" (or "nb wlw"). Surely if you're non-binary and gay, then you'd only be attracted to other non-binary people. You by definition wouldn't be a lesbian.
