It's quite bad how so many of these types do HRT "for funsies" when in reality it's going to have severe effects on their health down the line (infertility, heart attacks, etc.). I'm guessing they don't even tell you this at gender clinics given how little people seem to care or be aware of it.

I don't think it matters if they do. These are teenagers and usually mentally ill and/or late bloomers too. They genuinely don't care about the future because they are so unable to picture it. What matters much much more is thrir teen angst and attention from "cool" people.

It's the most annoying, short-sighted, low-IQ form of rebellion. I've agreed for years that men and women don't need to be bound by the black and white, outdated expectations of masculine and feminine roles, traits and appearance. That's fine on its own and has been an acceptable notion for decades.

Society doesn't require anyone to be the manliest man or the girliest girl. There's no need to revisit gender as a concept and further complicate what was once already pretty simple philosophy, but, for whatever reason, people can't help themselves and need to fix what isn't broken, and medical professionals aren't interested in pushing back anymore. Experiment with your endocrine system though, it's totally fine and will absolutely be worth the disastrous physical, mental and emotional consequences as your body fights against it tooth and nail, but at least you can feel super affirmed or whatever in being a ladyboy.
