Growing Around Non-Mr.Enter GA Scripts?

That's really easier said than done.
Speaking seriously here, but honestly, if you wanna try going out and writing a script, go ahead.

Even if it's shit, most people start off stuff like this as shit, so hey, so long as you improve over time or so long as you enjoy doing what you do, it's all worth it. Just never stagnate and never let whatever praise you get go to your head.

(So don't end up like Enter is what I'm saying.)

Since "The Hunt of the Sally" is currently being discussed in the other thread, I thought I'd say I liked the episode. My favorite moment was Sally hiding and threatening to ground Robert for a month if he gave her away, then Timmy coming into the scene and threatening him with two months if he didn't tell him where she was, and then Gumdrops ended up exposing her. XD

This is actually a pretty common joke when two characters want a third one to join their sides
but usually there are benefits instead of punishment
It's nothing new, but at least it's not flat out stolen

I kinda liked that part too. I feel like it gives Gumdrops some character.

Not really, on some level, everything is a copy of something.
That's usually how it is. It's hard to be original these days when it seems like it's been done before, you can however find a different way to convey the same thing of course. I wouldn't mind trying out for an episode of this if I cared, but I feel like my approach would be rather conventional and conservative to what I may do with these characters.

EDIT: Often one rule of writing I often hear of is "Write what you know". I once had a newspaper route as a dorky teen and understand what that was like. I wouldn't mind making that an episode with Robert taking up a paper route briefly and sucking in it.
