I love Oat milk, but only recently did it start giving me stomach pains if i had it with cereal.
Which is lame, because I like cereal with milk.

On another note, coconut milk is good too. I like the idea of using it in cooking more than just drinking it though.
Also, I personally miss getting cashew milk. That stuff was great.

I remember trying almond milk since we didn't have regular milk at the time and the taste was genuinely so displeasing. Not even adding some cinnamon and sugar helped with the taste.

Fuck Silk. Silk is the 2016 US Elections of drinks; it ruined discourse on anything soy-related forever. Get Yeos or literally anything not made by Americans if you want decent soy milk. Just remember that it will be very sweet, though.

Beware of soy milk: too much soy makes men produce estrogen and sometimes grow a pair of bangin' DDs. Almond/oat "milk" and such should be fine though.

We've found another autistic obsession I just can't understand. Like, nigga, who thinks this much about their milk substitutes?

Lol nobody is drinking that much soy milk for it to have any impact on your hormones. You'd have to be megadosing that shit 24/7. The whole soy meme is just cope for incel qtards who have the t levels of an 80 year old woman

Drink your green tea soy lattes, brothers.

Except maybe a fitness sperg who eats the same soy meal three times a day.

I have gone on a bit of an adventure trying substitute milks since deciding to cut out most dairy back in January. Maybe I haven't found the right brand, but the oat milk I've tried has just been too thick and it feels gross to drink. Or maybe I'm just an idiot and you're really only supposed to have it in coffee or a breakfast dish instead of drinking it straight.
I'd be willing to give oat milk another try if anyone has any specific recommendations.

I dislike calling it milk because I like milk and I like these, for different reasons and if I want milk I drink milk. Almond and coconut milk are very pleasant in their own right, really, but they don't really replace milk in a lot of applications. For beverages and drinking? Sure. For cooking, baking etc.? It gets trickier.

Also almond milk absolutely does not keep.
Almond milk is a good hack for making orgeat if you like maitais or want a nuttly flavor in oatmeal or whatever.

I got food poisoning from expired cheese when I was very young and as it turns out rice milk was basically prescribed back in those days to help your gut flora get back into shape. I don't buy it on my own, but I do enjoy a glass of vanilla flavored nut milk if somebody gives me some.

I'm minority here but I hate oatmilk. I tastes like liquid portage or raw pancake batter to me. Ugh.

I mainly use dairy milk but do like coconut milk in cooking sometimes. It can give nice flavor and fullness without being as heavy as dairy. I like it especially with green curry.
