All prices calculated from Walmart.com, do not include tax:

Pair of Faded Glory Women's Jeans: $9.88
Pair of scissors: $2.38
3 rolls of scotch tape (to mimic the plastic on the front of the knees): $5.14
Total: $17.50
Nordstrom price: $95
Savings of $77.50

Nobody would ever wear this, people have ripped jeans, sure, but nobody wears those on purpose. Most of the time it's because they're too lazy to throw them out, they just act like it's a fashion statement.

Then there's this. Who cares about whether we can see your knees pr not? Literally almost no one has a knee fetish. At least with @Varg Did Nothing Wrong's design, there would be people getting boners from it.

There is no point to this.

I mean, the store I work in has like 500 different pairs of "distressed" jeans with holes in various sizes on them. So people definitely buy them on purpose. And God help you if you're out of their size and you DARE suggest they could add distressing themselves...

That said, this is extraordinarily stupid. Why anyone thought this was a good idea, I'll never know. It'd be one thing if the jeans were in a flattering shape, but acid-washed mom jeans aren't cute on anyone.

I think I saw someone wear those during a middle-school production of Tom Sawyer. They were playing Huck Finn.

No, wait, they had colorful patches over the knees. The length, cut, and ugliness were still the same, though. (I think he even stood with the same posture as in the picture.)

Now if they knew Ivanka's line wasn't selling, why would they have something that looks like rejected ideas as the replacement?
