I can't believe these people are real. If we live in a universe where a bunch of useless losers making memes have supporters in multiple governments and militaries, then we also live in a universe where Patrick Tomlinson's Xweets on how to paintbomb an armored tank are in the fucking Ukrainian field manual.

I remember this screencap from twitter maybe, where some woman complained that her father called nafofags "a bunch of useless terminally online people" or something like that. Shame I didn't save it.

Some people that are associated with NAFO or involved have ties to the region or are slavs, but when your average American jumps on the Ukraine bandwagon big time when they have no ties to Eastern or Central Europe, no relation to an ex-Soviet state or country that borders or has history with Russia... it makes you wonder what motivates them. And with NAFO it's just to goof off and meme around with other people online, and the war is way more serious than that.

Only positive I can say is that NAFO actually requires you to put your money where your mouth is and donate to the cause somewhat, though I bet most only donated $5 or $15 or whatever.

More or less nail on head. Ever since it started, even if the intentions were good it was taken over by selfish virtue signaling and at this point I don't see any hope for the movement if there really even was any from the start. I think at this point it is a liability to the pro-Ukraine side of the fence and nothing revealed it better than the contrast between the locals who attended the NAFO summit and the foreigners who visited.

The worst part is that every major war from now on (that the West actually cares about) will have its own gay astroturfed meme propaganda. Unless the war involves a quick nuclear Armageddon to put everyone out of their misery.

Also what war crimes did the Georgia legion commit? I'll be open and honest I have no dog in this larger war but I do have leanings towards supporting the Ukrainians (I have friends who are Ukrainian) that being said NAFO is so fucking cringe and have ruined any people who do actual open source research (which for those who do not know is really important in the real world academic and charity spheres across the world).

I just saw. I hope both of these threads can move out of prospering grounds as soon as possible.
