Until I grew to learn more of their country, their high incidence of lolcowdom, then how weirdly obsessive they have been both on the internet and real life towards American politics I used to think positively of the Canadian. Now I realize they are simply the UK but in a much larger space that is dragging along a lot of people who don't agree with their coastal folk towards a weird nanny state.

I'm a leaf, and the country sucks. I have zero national pride and I dont even understand why we exist. Only thing that makes me feel Canadian is watching hockey.

I find it utterly bizarre how many fellow Canadians despise the US and think that you guys are evil. I always say to these lobotimites , who would you rather have as your neighbour. Russia's currently waging war on their Canada, or China can't even get a fully blown Chinese state (Taiwan) to join them.
The US has been the greatest neighbour a small little backwoods country like Canada could ask for.

I always hope for a strong prosperous US. And I'd be all for the US annexing Canada. Outside of Toronto/Ottawa and Vancouver, we're basically a nice midwest state with culture thats very similar to Michigan /Ohio/ Wisconsin/Minnesota.
