They were still up to their blatantly anti-OSS bullshit as late as 2010, dude. Suddenly doing a 180 when it's politically apt (and conveniently extending their tendrils into more markets) doesn't mean they've suddenly seen the light and embraced open source.
Wake me when they've put their money where their mouth is and open-sourced Windows or Office.
So basically your post says that MS isn't open source-friendly because of two critical reasons:
- Your paranoia
- They still own a few proprietary products, which is super not allowed open source everything NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW
