To be fair, Minecraft is a heavily modded game, even servers have to be modded to run so it's simple to just bring all the shit they removed about Notch back. I'm glad I bought copies of the game before Microsoft got a hold of it.

If you think about it Microsoft already has a well known game series about switching genders in order to accomplish goals.

Banjo kazooie was entirely based on switching between Banjo and Kazooie at will and each one had their own individual specific abilities as well as abilities that required to cooperation of both.

There now you have a base line on what counts as a successful game that requires swapping genders as an actual gameplay mechanic rather than some story lore bullshit.

Oh yes, of course, that completely and entirely fair court battle that IBM, Google and Apple weren't subjected to, for some reason. That they got for trying to bundle IE with Windows, which doesn't apply to Android or ChromeOS, for some reason. That's a perfectly unbiased proof of a corrupt company.
