Speaking of munchies, I'd also like to recommend the Abby Cappleman thread. She comes in every now and then posing as a friend and stirs the pot. I only wish that the community of watchers that joined this forum for that thread would share screenies.
 
Honestly? The start of the Yaniv saga and the shenanigans of the Womb Wizard have been an endless source of lulz and in jokes for the spergs I hang out with irl.

Amber's 100 days of "content" was the most manic shit daily. It was an experience that only you had to be there at the time to experience.

Chris Chan Liquid Chris arc is EASILY one of the best ops in history and still remains my top lolcow moment. It resulted in CWC singing back street boys and getting bodied in a response that even made the actual CWC question if he was actually CWC. It still makes me laugh to this day.

The entirety of DSP is just the epitome of lolcow and the bankruptcy is amazing

I personally think that DSP is the dullest lolcow on the entire site alongside Russell Greer, but the Austrian escort saga culminating in the doxing of a catfishing empire helmed by two married deviants that had been active for 10+ years was beyond amazing. I can't think of anything that was more splendid than that.
 
Jesus Christ there's a lot of shit I can say. Couch Cuck, Mumkey Jones, Boulder King, Sargon, Yaniv, the entirety of 2018, ProJared, the piss fetishist, the zoosadist incident, Rainfurrest, Weeb Wars prior to the first court case, John running for office, Nostalgia Critic and The Wall, LagoonaBlue's halal, Jake Alley's sperg rant about boiling water, Hartley Hooligans, Sammie Bushart, and finally, Drain Todger.
 
I think one of my favorite beginning-to-end sagas that I've gotten to witness on the boards has been Allison Rapp's. Seeing her start out with a downright blessed life handed to her on a silver platter: an absolute dream job, a cuck husband who would just nod and smile that sad, sad smile at whatever bullshit she pushed on him, a nice apartment in a trendy city, vacations to Japan, playing at being an 'empowered sex worker' without any of the real risk, getting to have fun larping 'fighting the patriarchy' and 'calling out the nerdbros' on her company twitter without them so much as batting an eye.

Then watching as one by one, these things fell away: The dream job implodes. The husband uses the very same poly schtick she forced him into to ditch her for a nicer girl. The impressive apartment gives way to a cramped, shitty studio. Her 'pretty' (by some standards) face grows increasingly haggard and worn. Larping as a sex worker becomes actual dependence on selling nudes to creeps to pay the bills. And finally, slinking off with her tail between her legs as her last chance at anything resembling a real relationship is torpedoed by her reputation.

And the best part is, she did all of it to herself. Almost every single step of the way, if she had actually tried to do the smart thing, or later on simply followed the advice of kiwis downright begging her to do the smart thing, she might have had a chance to halt the decline. But she didn't, she stubbornly dug her heels into the dirt and insisted upon pain of death that she was living her best life, even as that became increasingly obviously not true.

Sure, it's not quite as impressive or flashy as some of the happenings mentioned in this thread so far, but it really was a wild ride to watch go down in real time. Close runners-up would be watching Marge Palermo slowly lose her mind, CPS liberating the Schofield kids, and just, the whole ass Munchausen syndrome thread. I swear, every time I go into that thread I wind up learning something new and fascinating about the human body and all the ways it can fuck up or be deliberately destroyed, best edutainment ever.

Also, another, very recent moment I'm never going to get over is Jake Alley writing a 2,400 word essay on boiling water.

I posted the story of Henry Earl in Obscure Laughingstocks last night but it didn't get much attention, so here it is:

Fark.com had their own pet lolcow like 15 years ago. Henry Earl, a man in Lexington, Kentucky, that had been arrested over a total of 1,500 times. He was first arrested in 1970, and had his thousandth arrest in 2002. It was usually just for being drunk in public, and nobody really disliked him. I don't think he ever actually posted on Fark, so they just mostly kept up with his arrest records and random anecdotes about people spotting him who lived there - things like how he called himself James Brown, and said he could dance like him. There were several news articles written about him for (possibly) being the world's most arrested man, though they're not really interesting.

But as of the past few years, Henry Earl seems to have all but vanished, and nobody really ever talks about him anymore. I guess there's not much to say other than his ever-increasing arrest number, but according to arrests.org, Henry's last arrest was in 2017, and there's this Reddit thread where people were saying he's in assisted living now.
