Well, bit of interesting information... apparently the ExtraLife servers was just hit by a DDoS attack. From their Facebook (not gonna bother screencapping it):

UPDATE: the cause of our downtime has been determined, Extra Life was subjected to a DDoS attack. Please read this important note from Jeromy:

Dear friends,

We’ve discovered that the Extra Life website experienced a DDoS attack against our datacenter. I am not sure what kind of person would DDoS a charitable initiative.

I am so sorry that you are going through this frustration today. Our entire team is purely heartbroken that someone would do this. But it has happened.

As frustrating as this is for everyone involved, it pales in comparison to what the kids we’re trying to save go through. That reality, for me personally, is about the only thing keeping me somewhat calm right now.

I am very angry and very sorry. You deserve better than this. The kids deserve better than this. Extra Life has given a lot of us some of the happiest moments in our lives.

This is not one of those moments.

Soooo... ruling out the fact that Chris doesn't have the mental capability or initiative to create a DDoS attack to get out of doing something, does this mean that Chris still has time to make up his 25 hours?

Do all the games award trophies?

I would have thought so, if you play games, especially at ones aimed at children, you can do next to nothing to earn a trophy, and a lot of them you get by accident. But somebody a few comments up doesn't think so, so I'm probably wrong.

Hi, thanks. Yeah sure, why wouldn't someone with such a low income impulsively pick up an expensive new console at launch? His first Miiverse post is dated to 06/12/2012 so I guess maybe it was a christmas present to himself or something. The only games he's left comments on are New Super Mario Bros. U, ZombiU and Nintendoland. He's online really often but I've yet to witness him playing a game. Wii U software shows up on your profile when you play it but I'm not sure about virtual console games and the like. My prevalent theory is that he just uses the gamepad to watch tv on the shitter and is too lazy to turn it off.
As far as I'm aware the only way to make a Miiverse account is through the console itself. There's a website on which you can view the content but it currently require a login. Profiles are really barebones though, and since Chris' last post was on the Dec 26th of last year there's really nothing to see. In summary:

There was a little more I remember, but not much more... the other person in the convo was masquerading as Clyde Cash or somebody like that, and asked "Kim" for the update... I remember she said afterwards something like "You know how he gives too much info sometimes"

I think at the time, the person who leaked it was seen as a bad sport, because he said himself "hey, at elast we know that Kim is a troll for sure", and that may have been frowned upon.

If that so, I hope those weeners really go fuck themeselves. ExtraLife has nothing to do with Chris, and it's a charity made for sick kids. Why the hell would you try to ruin that? Chris wouldn't comment on it anyway, so it was for nothing and an idiotic and immoral thing to do.

This forum didn't exist until Feb. of this year, I think? So they were probably TOSed.

It only gives the date of the last trophy you earned for a particular game, for example you could be playing the same game daily but it will say that you were last on it a few weeks ago.

It's very confusing I know.

Still, psnprofiles says he's getting 1.9 trophies per day on average. Guess it just means it gets updated laggily as hell. Still no updates.

Side note: Buahahaha! Chris has Spartacus Legends, at exactly zero trophies. I got it for free on XBL. I don't know if it's free on PSN too. Guess Chris couldn't handle a game where muscular guys bash each other and shout about cocks. You know, historically accurate gladiator fights.
