Yes I do think you're lazy Jay, you have been avoiding everything you have ever wanted. Fame, and having your comic be famous. The 'oh ho man." part is odd. It makes me think like he's like telling me im wrong (which could be the thing). The thing is I'm not wrong, and im getting impatient with Jay's laziness.

Yeah, it does seem like "Oh ho man...you have no idea how HARD I've been working and you people should be thankful I grace you with my EPIC comic and you are so dead wrong!"

OR

"...you're lucky I'm even putting out pages."

With the time he consumes in making just one page, I'd at least expect it to look more like something someone who put effort into their beloved project.

OMG I'm sorry there is no way. I can only imagine how the pitch would go when he meets with a group (if someone would actually give him the time of day). As soon as he says it's a mature show and shows his work, he will be laughed out of the building and the cops will be called once he tard rages.

In 20 years? How long does it normally take a show to get going? 2 years? He treats this like its his magnum opus when its little more than self insert fiction of cartoon networks IP. He could get sued if he really wanted this to be a thing right?

And realistically, who would even want to air it? The content bars it from being a children's cartoon. I suppose he could try to air it towards adults (which isn't as niche as it was in the 90s), but the art style would be off-putting for looking too child-like. There is the chance he could try something akin to South Park, but part of that was stylistic suck.

Aside from the art style, I doubt the actual content would appeal to anybody who watch shows like South Park. People who watch those kind of shows are expecting some kind of commentary or satire on current events. Jay's stuff is just mostly random fanfiction crap, and the actual content isn't nearly as substantial enough to warrant a crappy art style.

The thing is the teams are more for production than the creative aspects. Like if you're the head of a big company ala Todd McFarlane yes you'll use someone else to do the majority of the art. Otherwise it is usually a one writer and one artist. Maybe some outside/editor influence but that's generally how it works. Jay has worked on this for months and gotten 2 pages.
 
Has he mentioned before that his true and honest dream was to make an animated series of his comics? Or has he realized his other dreams are pointless so he needs to be delusional over something new?

I've never bothered reading through 80% of his journals because they're so goddamn long.

Oh, this could devolve quickly if somebody was to tell him that MLP:FIM "fan-made" episode "Double Rainboom" in fact...is MLP/PPG crossover fanfiction brought into motion as animation.

I think he has but it's hard to remember for sure since Chris had the exact same plan. As much as GK wants to distance himself from Chris it seems as time goes on they have the same game plan when it comes to business.

- Drag heels as you make a comic
- ????
- ????
- Turn it into an animated series
- Fame.

I honestly don't quite understand Jay. He's more intelligent than Chris but when it comes down to it he somehow manages to make the exact same fuck ups as him.

I think a lot of artists have this same flight of fancy in adolescence, it's just most of them grow out of it when they realize they aren't hot shit. GK thinks he's hot shit.
