I don't go outside but getting hyped about some stupid bullshit in a crowd is probably fun and I wouldn't necessarily call those people NPCs without seeing their tweets on an individual basis.

These seem more like just screaming fans than NPCs. It's stupid behavior either way but NPC behavior in my mind is like that shit where people start acting like fucking skinwalkers parroting shit from news media and clickbait articles and thats the entirety of their conversation. Like the kind that comes out of fucking nowhere like a switch flipped in their brains.
