One of the most most traditional men I know also did a few combat tours (Iraq). He killed a lot of people and saw horrific things, up close and personal. He's volatile, naturally alpha, combative, and one of the smarter people I've ever known.

He has some ideas about women (and life in general) that diverge from mine. He is fairly loose talking to me candidly about views he knows I might not share, bc we have a mutual respect.

I have no doubt that he is honorable and decent, and I also know that he would never say or think the shit you say or think you know about women, or the opinions you voice of them. He'd probably enjoy beating the shit out of you, tbqh.

This reference point reminds me that just as the military can turn so many boys into men and give them honor and quality (though it sometimes fails because of its own dysfunction), there are those it can't reach. Those people go in as shit, stay shit, and come out as shit. If you are the person irl that you are here, then I'm talking about you.

I’ll give my actual hot take because I’m collecting puzzle pieces: I’m really sick of this notion that women are inherently morally superior to men because they statistically commit less violent crime. The reason for this isn’t some inherent piety tied to sex but comes from hyper-socialization.

Violence is ultimately purely anti-social behavior, and women are socialized to maintain social normalcy to extreme ends. It’s similar reasoning to why women choose suicide methods that are less likely to disfigure their bodies, because while suicide is extreme and destructive behavior, they still need to maintain social standing even in death. It’s not out of a desire to not cause harm, it’s out of acting in accordance to expectations, more cowardice than righteousness.

Males, especially those who are extremely atomized because of factors like mental illness, simply don’t care about this and are willing to cause harm to others. Women who are similarly mentally ill and atomized manifest those urges into either harming themselves or manipulating others into harming themselves. This is not to mention just simply women are not capable of the same level of violence as men are because of their physicality.

I don’t believe they are immune to the barbarism within the human condition, and when granted the same circumstances they would certainly enact the same violence as men would. Mothers are more likely to be abusive towards their children, more often psychologically, because that’s in their ability because of their role of authority and physicality. It’s like the meme of “women leaders wouldn’t wage war” said by people who voted for Clinton in 2016. Given the right circumstances and means, women would likely be no better than their male counterparts. Feminists are into the other meme of the Madonna-Whore complex while they themselves seem to ascribe themselves to the former.

Doesn’t have to be said but I’m talking about the outliers here, most men are not capable of rape and murder and most women aren’t BPDemons, but I think the idea of the “fairer sex” is somewhat of a misnomer. What I described I don’t think necessarily is a bad thing, because it obviously reduces harm, I just wouldn’t call it deliberate virtue.
