If you look at the World Economic Forum and the UN's 2030 agenda, there is very much an institutional academic push from the top of society (in terms of political and economic influence) for anti-natalism because monopolizing and manipulating procreation from the top down is effectively a form controlling and molding society. Modern CEOs and politicians are amoral sociopolitical actors who unironically think of themselves as the gods of the 21st century and seek to reshape humanity itself in accordance with their will. In academic and political circles it's very trendy to dismiss religion in the modern world because it's seen as backwards, but a godless world is inevitably going to be a dystopian one, and that very much describes the present state of affairs across the globe at large.
I personally make the choice to believe in God each and every day because the alternative is Hell on Earth.
