Pretty sure the Christian conservatives tried. Porn decided HD-DVD/Blueray. Porn is a liberal cause because the sexual revolution was a liberal cause. Progessives euphemize prostitution as "sex work" now. Pornographer Larry Flynt decided a free speech case. I don't see how you can lay it at the feet of the right. If women are suffering from the effects of porn, that should bring them to the right, because the current state of porn is a lefty victory.

True. But back then women voted much more to the right. Conservatives sold their principles for mortgage interest rate deductions and stuff like that. And now we have whiny rightoids blaming white women for the downfall of western civilisation, while they go home and watch porno or cheat on their wife. I just think we need a better class of right-wing politicians. People who actually likes women, and wants them to join.
