Null's music taste / music for Null

I discovered Wet Leg about a year ago and have listened to their song “Wet Dream” hundreds of times, and it’s a banger that still sustains. Wet Leg is a British (don’t hold it against them) indie rock group that’s been around since 2019, comprised of 2 chicks and 3 dudes. I saw them live a year and a half ago with Courtney Barnett, and they did not disappoint! The song is catchy and doesn’t go on for too long. It leaves you wanting more while also leaving you feeling satiated with what you heard.


Edit: I’m not sure why it is saying that the video is unavailable and must be watched on YouTube, but it is. If anyone can glean light on this for me, I would appreciate it, as coding is not my wheelhouse. Also adding below recommendation of “I Fought the Law” by Dead Kennedys in lieu of the news that Bossman is out of jail. It isn’t the same lyrics.

In an attempt to dilute the concentration of chick music in Null's repertoire, I will recommend the following song:
ME 262 by Blue Öyster Cult.

From their third album, Secret Treaties; it infamously garnered the band a reputation as Nazis, in a manner not dissimilar to todays "cancelling." They've done more songs about serial killers (including one track on this very album), but that never seemed to affect their reputation.

Everyone knows (Don't Fear) The Reaper, but that song really doesn't compare to anything from their first three albums, which I would include in my list of perfect albums; Secret Treaties being my favorite among them.

Listen, if you're looking for western music without any Jews involved then you're going to have to go back at least 120 years. Doesn't stop it from being a really good song about shooting Englishmen.

I'm used to that; I don't know how to politely express the thoughts I'm having about a false image promoted about these people and those who are all too willing to help them promote that image.

I don't know what false image you're getting. They sang about shit that interested them, sometimes to the detriment of industrial recognition. And then the 80's hit and they started writing chick music because that was profitable, but that also describes every other musical group that didn't already pull that with disco.
